The River Park multifunctional complex on the left bank of the Danube includes luxury flats and apartments, lucrative office spaces, a five-star hotel, shopping arcades, green areas and a promenade along the waterfront. The underground part of the complex is common to all four aboveground blocks. The raft foundation and perimeter basement walls are designed and constructed as watertight concrete structures. The dominant feature of the complex is the River House, spanning the pedestrian promenade and overhanging the Danube River, which has a total dimensions of 104 x 24 m and creates a single unit with no expansion joints. Since the entire building is on two pillars and two cores, at the level of the second and third floor there is a transfer structure in the form of a system of prestressed concrete deep beams. , Thanks to application of transfer structures it has managed to fulfil the ambitious intentions of the architect and developer to create spectacular spaces.
